They do not operate the Fire Pits in the Winter and neither do the local hotels. Not amazing but better than typical 'bar' food. When I found a couple of wines I liked, I poured a 5 ounce of each and enjoyed a flatbread pizza. The prices are a bit more than you might pay at a typical winery that charges for tastings, an average of about $1.30 for one ounce. The price of the pour is listed so you know before you pour. Although I am not a fan of surrendering my card completely (that is part of the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5), they give you a card that you put into the wine enclosures and then choose your 'pour' of 1 ounce, 5 ounces or more. I love this concept! You go to the 'wine tasting bar' and give them your credit card. As a solo diner, I did not feel rushed and that is a good thing but when I entered the place I was initially encouraged to sit at the bar. It was empty when I arrived but within 30 minutes, it was very busy and this was in the dead of Winter. I was concerned that it would not be solo-diner friendly so I arrived when they opened at 4pm on a Wednesday. I read about this place and being a wine lover, this was right up my alley.
